New Construction and reconstruction of 2.7 miles of roadway in Towanda Borough and North Towanda Township. Related drainage improvements, concrete curbs and sidewalks, installation of traffic signals, signs and pavement markings. Construction of a mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, a cast in place concrete wall, a soldier pile retaining wall. Placement of 120,000 tons of rock to stabilize river bank, installation of water lines, sanitary sewer line, dry hydrant facilities, electrical conduits, landscaping and installation of a pedestrian trail along the river.
